मृत्यु-काल-प्रबोधनम् (Instruction on Mortality, Time, and Truth) — Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 169
त्वद्दर्शनात् तु विप्रेन्द्र कृतार्थो 5स्म्यद्य वै द्विज । आवां हि सह यास्याव: श्वो वसस्वाद्य शर्वरीम्
tvaddarśanāt tu viprendra kṛtārtho 'smy adya vai dvija | āvām hi saha yāsyāvaḥ śvo vasasvādya śarvarīm ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi bậc tối thượng trong hàng Bà-la-môn, được diện kiến ngài hôm nay, ta thấy chí nguyện đã viên mãn. Hỡi bậc nhị sinh, xin lưu lại nơi đây đêm nay; rạng đông ngày mai, chúng ta sẽ cùng nhau lên đường.”
