त्रिवर्गविचारः
Tri-varga Deliberation: Dharma, Artha, Kāma
शकुनीनामिवाकाशे जले वारिचरस्य च । यथा गतिने दृश्येत तथा तस्य न संशय:
śakunīnām ivākāśe jale vāricarasya ca | yathā gatir na dṛśyeta tathā tasya na saṃśayaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Như dấu vết của chim không thể thấy trên trời, và dấu vết của loài bơi lội không thể thấy trong nước, cũng vậy, hành trình của bậc trí chân thật không thể bị lần theo hay nắm bắt bằng sự quan sát thường tình. Điều ấy không có chút nghi ngờ.
