चिताधूमेन नीलेन संरज्यन्ते च पादपा: । श्मशाने च निराहारा: प्रतिनर्दन्ति देहिन:
citādhūmena nīlena saṃrajyante ca pādapāḥ | śmaśāne ca nirāhārāḥ pratinardanti dehinaḥ ||
“Bị nhuộm bởi làn khói xanh đen của giàn hỏa táng, cây cối nơi đây cũng mang đúng sắc ấy. Và trong bãi thiêu này, những loài tồn tại không cần ăn—các vong linh bất an, quỷ mị và những kẻ tương tự—đang gầm rống đáp lại.”
