कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च
The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
एवं तु वर्तमानस्य तस्य वृत्तिं दुरात्मन: । अगमत् सुमहान् कालो न चाधर्ममबुध्यत
evaṃ tu vartamānasya tasya vṛttiṃ durātmanaḥ | agamat sumahān kālo na cādharmam abudhyata ||
Thế rồi, khi kẻ tâm địa xấu ấy cứ tiếp tục sống theo thói quen ấy, thời gian rất dài đã trôi qua; nhưng hắn vẫn không tỉnh ngộ rằng lối sống của mình là phi pháp (adharma). Câu kệ nhấn mạnh: sa đà lâu ngày trong một khuôn mẫu sai trái có thể làm tê liệt ý thức đạo lý, khiến adharma trở nên như điều bình thường.
