यद्‌ यदेवंगतेनाद्य शक्‍यं कर्तु मया तव । तदाज्ञापय कर्तास्मि संधिरेवास्तु नौ सखे

yad yadevaṃgatena adya śakyaṃ kartuṃ mayā tava | tad ājñāpaya kartāsmi sandhir evāstu nau sakhe ||

Bhīṣma nói: “Bạn hiền, trong tình cảnh hiện nay của ta, bất cứ việc phụng sự nào ta còn có thể làm cho ngươi—hãy truyền lệnh, ta nhất định thi hành. Mong giữa đôi ta có sự hòa giải và thuận hòa, bạn hiền.”
