आपद्धर्मनिर्णयः — विश्वामित्र-श्वपचसंवादः

आपद्विनाशभूयिष्ठ गर्त: कार्य हि जीवितम्‌

āpadvināśabhūyiṣṭha gartaḥ kārya hi jīvitam

Bhīṣma nói: “Trong thời tai ương, chính mạng sống trở thành một vực sâu—bị bóng đe dọa của diệt vong bao trùm. Vì thế, phải hành động với mục tiêu trước hết là giữ lấy sinh mạng.”
