आशा मद त्तरां मन्ये पर्वतादपि सद्रुमात् आकाशादपि वा राजजन्नप्रमेयैव वा पुन:
āśāṃ mad-uttarāṃ manye parvatād api sa-drumāt | ākāśād api vā rājann aprameyaiva vā punaḥ ||
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Ôi Đại vương, ta cho rằng hy vọng còn lớn hơn cả ta—lớn hơn cả ngọn núi với rừng cây, lớn hơn cả bầu trời; quả thật, hết lần này đến lần khác, nó vẫn là điều không thể đo lường.”
