Testing and Appointment of Ministers/Servants
शरभो5प्यतिसंदृष्टो नित्य॑ प्राणिवधे रत:
śarabho 'py atisaṃdṛṣṭo nityaṃ prāṇivadhē rataḥ
Bhīṣma nói: “Ngay cả śarabha cũng được thấy là cực kỳ hung dữ, luôn ham thích việc sát hại sinh linh.” Trong khuôn khổ giáo huấn của Śānti, câu này chỉ rõ rằng có những bản tính nghiêng về bạo lực; vì thế dharma phải được nuôi dưỡng một cách có ý thức, chứ không thể mặc nhiên cho rằng sẽ tự phát sinh chỉ từ dòng giống hay sức mạnh.
