तस्यर्षेरुपविष्टस्थ पादमूले महामते । मनुष्यवद्गतो भावो स्नेहबद्धों& भवद् भूशम्
tasyarṣer upaviṣṭastha-pādamūle mahāmate | manuṣyavad gato bhāvo sneha-baddho ’bhavad bhūśam ||
Bhishma nói: “Bậc hiền trí ơi, khi con chó ngồi dưới chân vị đại hiền giả, trong nó bỗng dấy lên một cảm tình như của con người. Bị trói chặt bởi lòng thương mến, nó gắn bó sâu nặng với hiền giả.”
