Adhyāya 115: On Restraint Under Verbal Provocation in the Assembly (सभायां आक्रोश-सहिष्णुता)

निषेकं विपरीतं स आचडटष्टे वृत्तचेष्टया । मयूर इव कौपीन नृत्यं संदर्शयन्निव

niṣekaṁ viparītaṁ sa ācaṣṭe vṛttaceṣṭayā | mayūra iva kaupīnaṁ nṛtyaṁ saṁdarśayann iva ||

Bhīṣma nói: “Chính lối hành xử trái lẽ của hắn làm cho nỗi nhục của hắn lộ rõ. Như con công khi phô diễn điệu múa thì bày ra cả điều đáng phải che, kẻ ngu cũng vậy—bằng hành vi bất chính mà phơi bày những lỗi kín trong lòng mình.”
