Praise of Venerating Mother, Father, and Teacher
तस्मान्मे सम्प्रकाशन्ते त्रयो लोका युधिष्छिर । मैं तो सारा शुभ कर्म करके इन तीनों गुरुजनोंको ही समर्पित कर देता था। इससे मेरे उन सभी शुभ कर्मोका पुण्य सौगुना और हजारगुना बढ़ गया है। युधिष्ठिर! इसीसे तीनों लोक मेरी दृष्टिके सामने प्रकाशित हो रहे हैं
tasmān me samprakāśante trayo lokā yudhiṣṭhira |
Bhīṣma nói: “Vì thế, hỡi Yudhiṣṭhira, ba cõi hiện rõ ràng sáng tỏ trước mắt ta. Bởi ta từng làm mọi việc lành và dâng hiến trọn vẹn cho ba bậc trưởng thượng đáng tôn kính ấy; nhờ sự hiến dâng đó, công đức của mọi thiện hạnh nơi ta tăng lên gấp trăm, gấp nghìn. Chính vì vậy mà nay ba cõi rực sáng trong tầm nhìn của ta.”
