मातापितृगुरुपूजा-प्रशंसा
Praise of Venerating Mother, Father, and Teacher
नैतानतिशयेज्जातु नात्यश्रीयान्न दूषयेत्
na etān atiśayej jātu nātyaśrīyān na dūṣayet |
Bhīṣma nói: “Chớ bao giờ tìm cách vượt trội hơn họ, cũng đừng khinh miệt hay bôi nhọ họ. Đừng xâm phạm quyền uy chính đáng của họ; đừng ăn trước khi đã dâng phần cho họ; đừng quy lỗi cho họ; và hãy luôn chuyên cần phụng sự họ. Đó là hạnh công đức tối thượng. Hỡi bậc vương thượng, nhờ phụng sự họ, con sẽ được danh tiếng, tiếng thơm thanh tịnh, và đạt đến những cõi tốt đẹp.”
