Gaṇānāṃ Vṛttiḥ — On the Sustenance and Cohesion of Assemblies
Gaṇa-nīti
पुत्रान् भ्रातृन् निगृह्नन्तो विनयन्तश्न तान् सदा । विनीतांश्व प्रगृह्नन्तो विवर्धन्ते गणोत्तमा:
putrān bhrātṝn nigṛhṇanto vinayantaś ca tān sadā | vinītāṁś ca pragṛhṇanto vivardhante gaṇottamāḥ ||
Bhishma nói: Ngay cả con trai hay anh em của mình—nếu lạc vào đường tà—những bậc lãnh đạo ưu tú ấy cũng kiềm chế và trừng phạt; lại luôn rèn dạy họ trong kỷ luật đúng đắn. Khi đã được huấn luyện thành người, họ tiếp nhận và nâng đỡ với sự kính trọng lớn lao. Vì thế, họ đạt được sự thịnh vượng và tăng trưởng vượt bậc.
