Gaṇānāṃ Vṛttiḥ — On the Sustenance and Cohesion of Assemblies

तत्रादानेन भिद्यन्ते गणा: संघातवृत्तय: । भिन्ना विमनस: सर्वे गच्छन्त्यरिवशं भयात्‌

Transliteration

tatrādānena bhidyante gaṇāḥ saṅghātavṛttayaḥ | bhinnā vimanasaḥ sarve gacchanty arivaśaṃ bhayāt ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Ngay cả những đoàn thể (gaṇa) sống còn nhờ hành động trong sự liên kết chặt chẽ cũng bị chia rẽ khi không được chu cấp đúng lúc. Một khi đã phân ly, ai nấy đều nản lòng, đối nghịch lẫn nhau, và vì sợ hãi mà rơi vào tay kẻ thù.”
