Jaitrya-nimitta: Signs of Prospective Victory and the Priority of Conciliation (जयलक्षण-निमित्त तथा सान्त्व-प्रधान नीति)
संदर्शेनेव सेनाया भयं भीरून् प्रबाधते | वज्रादिव प्रज्वलितादियं क्व नु पतिष्यति,शत्रुकी सेनाको देखते ही कायरोंको भय सताने लगता है, मानो उनके ऊपर प्रज्वलित वज्र गिरनेवाला हो। वे सोचते हैं, न जाने यह सेना किसके ऊपर पड़ेगी?
saṁdarśanenaiva senāyā bhayaṁ bhīrūn prabādhate | vajrādiva prajvalitād iyaṁ kva nu patiṣyati ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Chỉ vừa trông thấy quân đội, nỗi sợ đã đè nặng lên kẻ nhút nhát. Tựa như một tia sét rực lửa sắp giáng xuống họ; họ cứ tự hỏi: ‘Đạo quân này rốt cuộc sẽ đổ ập lên ai?’”
