गम्भीराक्षा नि:सृताक्षा: पिड्ाक्षा भ्रुकुटीमुखा: । नकुलाक्षास्तथा चैव सर्वे शूरास्तनुत्यज:

Transliteration

gambhīrākṣā niḥsṛtākṣāḥ piṅgākṣā bhrukuṭīmukhāḥ | nakulākṣās tathā caiva sarve śūrās tanutyajaḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: Người có mắt sâu, hoặc vì mắt quá lớn mà trông như lồi; người có mắt màu vàng nâu; người có gương mặt với đôi mày cau chặt; và cả người có mắt nâu như loài cầy mangut—hễ mang những dấu hiệu ấy thì đều vốn là bậc dũng sĩ, hạng sẵn lòng bỏ thân nơi chiến địa.
