Upāya-dharma and Senāyoga: Expedient Ethics & Army Deployment
क्षेयेडा: किलकिलाशब्दा: क्रकचा गोविषाणिका: । भेरीमृदज़पणवान् नादयेयु: पुराश्चरान्
kṣeyeḍāḥ kila-kilā-śabdāḥ krakacā go-viṣāṇikāḥ | bherī-mṛdaṅga-paṇavān nādayeyuḥ purāścarān ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Hãy để những người đi đầu quân đội cất tiếng hò chiến trận vang dội và những tiếng reo mừng rộn rã, đồng thời tấu lên các nhạc cụ—krakaca, tù và (go-viṣāṇikā), cùng những trống lớn như bherī, mṛdaṅga và paṇava—để quân sĩ tiến lên trong trật tự, vững dạ, và làm lung lay khí phách của địch.”
