Shloka 18
तौ हि संजय दुःखार्तो विज्ञाप्यौ वचनाद्धि मे । इष्टं भृत्या भृता: सम्यग् भू: प्रशास्ता ससागरा
tau hi sañjaya duḥkhārto vijñāpyau vacanād dhi me | iṣṭaṃ bhṛtyā bhṛtāḥ samyag bhūḥ praśāstā sasāgarā ||
Sañjaya nói: “Hỡi Sañjaya, khi nghe tin ta chết, song thân ta ắt sẽ quằn quại vì sầu khổ. Vì vậy, theo lời ta, ngươi phải nhắn với họ rằng: ta đã chu toàn những tế lễ được truyền dạy, đã nuôi dưỡng đúng mực những người nương tựa ta, và đã trị vì mặt đất tốt đẹp, cho đến tận biển cả bao quanh.”
