शिरश्न राजसिंहस्य पादेन समलोडयत्‌ | ऐसा कहकर भीमसेनने अपने बायें पैरसे उसके मुकुटको ठुकराया और उस राजसिंहके मस्तकपर भी पैरसे ठोकर मारा

Transliteration

śiraś ca rājasiṃhasya pādena samaloḍayat |

Translation

Sañjaya nói: Bhīmasena, nói như vậy rồi, dùng chân trái hất đổ chiếc vương miện, và sau đó đá vào đầu của “sư tử giữa các bậc quân vương” ấy. Hành động ấy phơi bày đỉnh điểm tàn bạo của mối thù trên chiến địa, nơi cơn giận và sự báo trả lấn át mọi lễ nghĩa vốn dành cho một chiến binh đã ngã xuống.
