लोकानपश्यद्‌ गच्छन्तं जैगीषव्यं ततोडसित: । इसके बाद असितने गौओंके लोकमें जाकर जैगीषव्यको ब्रह्मसत्र करनेवालोंके लोकोंमें जाते देखा ।। त्रीललोकानपरान्‌ विप्रमुत्पतन्तं स्वतेजसा

lokān apaśyad gacchantaṃ jaigīṣavyaṃ tato 'sitaḥ | trīl lokān aparān vipram utpatantaṃ svatejasā ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: Rồi Asita thấy Jaigīṣavya tiếp tục đi qua các cõi. Ngài thấy vị Bà-la-môn ấy, nhờ uy quang tự thân, vút bay vượt khỏi ba thế giới để đến những cảnh giới cao hơn—những nơi mà người hành Brahma-satra và các đại lễ Veda khác đạt tới—qua đó nêu rõ niềm tin rằng công phu khổ hạnh và kỷ luật tế tự sẽ kết trái thành những đích đến cao quý sau khi chết.
