शल्यस्य सेनापत्याभ्युपगमः | Śalya’s Acceptance of Command

यत्‌ किंचित्‌ सुद्गदा वाच्यं तत्‌ सर्व श्रावितों हाहम्‌ । कृतं च भवता सर्व प्राणान्‌ संत्यज्य युध्यता

“Bậc Bà-la-môn tối thượng! Mọi điều mà một người bạn chí tình, vì lợi ích của ta, cần nói—ngài đã nói cho ta nghe cả rồi. Không chỉ vậy, ngài còn vì phúc lợi của ta mà làm hết thảy, gạt bỏ luyến tiếc sinh mạng, xông vào chiến trận.”
