उग्र॑ तपश्चरसि वै विदिता मे5सि सुव्ते । यदर्थमयमारम्भस्तव कल्याणि हृद्गत:
ugraṁ tapaś carasi vai viditā me 'si suvrate | yadartham ayam ārambhas tava kalyāṇi hṛdgataḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Nàng quả đang thực hành khổ hạnh nghiêm khắc; ta đã biết rõ nàng, hỡi người nữ có lời nguyện cao quý. Vì mục đích gì mà sự khởi sự này nảy sinh trong lòng nàng, hỡi người cát tường?”
