गोलाड्गूलर्क्षसंघैश्व द्रवद्धिरनुनादितम् । कुरजड्भमविनिर्धोषनिनादितवनान्तरम्
golāḍgūlarkṣa-saṅghaiś ca dravaddhir anunāditam | kura-jaḍbhama-vinirghoṣa-ninādita-vanāntaram ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Lòng rừng vang dội tứ phía—dội theo tiếng kêu của bầy gấu và muôn thú đang tháo chạy; lại còn bị lấp đầy bởi thứ âm thanh thô bạo, hỗn loạn của đám Kuru náo động rối ren—như điềm dữ khi chiến tranh tràn cả vào chốn hoang lâm.
