गदाहस्तं तु तं दृष्टवा सशृुदड्भमिव पर्वतम्‌

gadāhastaṃ tu taṃ dṛṣṭvā saśṛṅgam iva parvatam

Sañjaya nói: Thấy chàng cầm chùy trong tay—tựa ngọn núi chồng chất đỉnh cao—các chiến binh nhìn thấy một hình tượng sức mạnh ghê gớm, vững như không thể lay chuyển; dấu hiệu cho sự leo thang tàn bạo của chiến tranh, khi sức lực và ý chí chi phối khoảnh khắc ấy.
