भीमसेनस्य कौरवसुतवधः तथा श्रुतर्वावधः
Slaying of Kaurava princes and the fall of Śrutarvā
निःश्वसन्ति सम दृश्यन्ते पार्थबाणहता नरा: । तानन्ये रथमारोप्य ह्वाश्वास्य च मुहूर्तकम्
niḥśvasanti sama dṛśyante pārthabāṇahatā narāḥ | tān anye ratham āropya hvāśvāsyā ca muhūrtakam
Sañjaya thưa: “Những người bị mũi tên của Arjuna quật ngã được thấy nằm đó, thở dốc và thoi thóp. Kẻ khác nâng các chiến sĩ bị thương lên xe, cho uống nước và để họ hồi sức trong chốc lát, rồi cố lay gọi họ tỉnh lại—một hình ảnh của guồng chiến tranh không ngừng, nơi lòng trắc ẩn chỉ lóe lên vội vã giữa bạo lực đang tiếp diễn.”
