भीमसेनस्य कौरवसुतवधः तथा श्रुतर्वावधः

Slaying of Kaurava princes and the fall of Śrutarvā

गदया भीमसेनेन भिन्नकुम्भान्‌ रजस्वलान्‌ । धावमानानपश्याम कुग्जरान्‌ पर्वतोपमान्‌

sañjaya uvāca | gadayā bhīmasenena bhinnakumbhān rajasvalān | dhāvamānān apaśyāma kuñjarān parvatopamān |

Sañjaya nói: Chúng ta đã thấy những chiến tượng to lớn như núi, thái dương bị chùy của Bhīmasena bổ vỡ—bụi phủ, máu chảy—hoảng loạn tháo chạy tán loạn. Chỉ vừa khi Bhīmasena nắm chùy trong tay, toàn quân Kaurava đã bấn loạn; và trước mắt ta, những con voi núi ấy bị chùy đánh nứt toác nơi thái dương rồi cuống cuồng chạy trốn.
