Śālva’s Elephant Assault and the Counterstroke (शाल्वस्य नागारूढाभ्यवहारः)
दृष्टवा तु कौरवं सैन्यं भयत्रस्तं प्रविद्रुतम् । अन्योन्यं समभाषन्त पज्चाला: पाण्डवैः सह,कौरव-सेनाको भयसे संत्रस्त होकर भागती देख पाण्डवोंसहित पांचालयोद्धा आपसमें इस प्रकार वार्तालाप करने लगे---
dṛṣṭvā tu kauravaṃ sainyaṃ bhayatrastaṃ pravidrutam | anyonyaṃ samabhāṣanta pāñcālāḥ pāṇḍavaiḥ saha ||
Sañjaya nói: Thấy quân Kaurava hoảng loạn, kinh hãi mà tháo chạy, các chiến binh Pañcāla cùng với các Pāṇḍava bắt đầu bàn bạc với nhau.
