Rudra’s Omitted Share in the Yajña (रुद्रभागानुपपत्तिः — यज्ञोपाख्यानम्)
भगस्य नयने चैव बाहू च सवितुस्तथा | प्रादात् पूृष्णश्व॒ दशनान् पुनर्यज्ञांश्व पाण्डव,पाण्डुनन्दन! फिर भगवान् शिवने भगको आँखें, सविताको दोनों बाँहें, पूषाको दाँत और देवताओंको यज्ञ प्रदान किये
bhagasya nayane caiva bāhū ca savituḥ tathā | prādāt pūṣṇaś ca daśanān punar yajñāṃś ca pāṇḍava ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: Śiva đã phục hồi những gì đã mất trong cuộc xung đột trước giữa các thần—Ngài trả lại đôi mắt cho Bhaga, hoàn lại hai cánh tay cho Savitṛ, và phục hồi răng cho Pūṣan; đồng thời Ngài cũng tái lập các nghi lễ tế tự (yajña) cho chư thiên.
