Brahmaśirastra-pratisaṃhāra — Retraction and redirection of the supreme weapon
Sauptika Parva, Adhyāya 15
इत्युक्त्वा संजहारास्त्रं पुनरेवं धनंजय: । संहारो दुष्करस्तस्य देवैरपि हि संयुगे
ity uktvā saṃjahārāstraṃ punar evaṃ dhanaṃjayaḥ | saṃhāro duṣkaras tasya devair api hi saṃyuge ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Nói xong, Dhanaṃjaya (Arjuna) lại thu hồi vũ khí ấy. Giữa cơn dồn ép của chiến trận, việc gọi trở lại mũi tên thần đó vô cùng khó—dẫu với chư thiên cũng chẳng dễ—cho thấy hiểm họa của sức mạnh một khi đã phóng ra, và kỷ luật hiếm có cần có để kìm giữ nó sau khi đã được giải phóng.
