(Yamasabhā-varṇanam) — Nārada’s Description of Dharmarāja’s Assembly
A righteous realm is marked by purity and harmony: nature becomes beneficent (pleasant waters), and the inhabitants are those refined by dharma and spiritual discipline—royal sages and stainless brahman-sages. The verse links ethical-spiritual merit (puṇya, amala) with the quality of one’s environment and company.
Nārada continues describing a divine region associated with Indra’s sphere, noting the distinctive waters (cool and warm) and the presence of exalted sages—rājarṣis and brahmarṣis—who reside there.
