Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel on Restraint and the Pāṇḍavas’ Authorized Return (धृतराष्ट्र-उपदेशः)
युधिछिर उवाच यो नः संख्ये नौरिव पारनेता जेता रिपूणां राजपुत्रस्तरस्वी । अनर्हता लोकवीरेण तेन दीव्याम्यहं शकुने फाल्गुनेन
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | yo naḥ saṅkhye naur iva pāraṇetā jetā ripūṇāṃ rājaputras tarasvī | anarhatā lokavīreṇa tena dīvyāmy ahaṃ śakune phālgunena ||
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Śakuni, tuy Phālguna (Arjuna) không đáng đem ra đặt cược, ta vẫn sẽ đánh bạc với ngươi bằng cách đặt chàng làm cược—vị vương tử lừng danh thiên hạ, nhanh như gió và mạnh mẽ, người trong trận tuyến sẽ đưa chúng ta vượt qua biển chiến tranh như người lái đò, và là kẻ chinh phục quân thù.”
