स हि धर्म पुरस्कृत्य दीर्घदर्शी परं हितम्‌ । उभयो: पक्षयोरयुक्तिं वक्ष्यत्यर्थविनिश्वयम्‌

Transliteration

sa hi dharma-puraskṛtya dīrgha-darśī paraṁ hitam | ubhayoḥ pakṣayor ayuktiṁ vakṣyaty artha-viniścayam ||

Translation

Dhṛtarāṣṭra nói: “Vì Vidura là người đặt dharma lên hàng đầu và nhìn xa trông rộng. Nghĩ đến lợi ích tối thượng, ông sẽ chỉ ra con đường thích đáng cho cả hai phía và đưa ra phán quyết dứt khoát về điều nên làm.”
