गोघ्नः स्त्रीघ्नश्व सन्‌ भीष्म त्वद्वाक्याद्‌ यदि पूज्यते । एवंभूतश्न यो भीष्म कथं संस्तवमहति

Transliteration

goghnaḥ strīghnaś ca san bhīṣma tvadvākyād yadi pūjyate | evaṁbhūtaś ca yo bhīṣma kathaṁ saṁstavam arhati ||

Translation

Śiśupāla nói: “Hỡi Bhīṣma, nếu—dựa vào lời của ngài—Kṛṣṇa này vẫn được tôn vinh dù bị xem là kẻ giết bò và kẻ sát hại phụ nữ, thì sự phân biệt dharma của ngài hẳn đã đến giới hạn. Xin nói cho ta, Bhīṣma: kẻ mang những tội ấy làm sao xứng đáng được ca tụng?”
