Śiśupāla-janma-lakṣaṇaṃ (Śiśupāla’s birth marks and the prophecy of his end)
पार्थिवान् पार्थिवश्रेष्ठ;: शिशुपालो5प्यचेतन: । सर्वान् सर्वात्मना तात नेतुकामो यमक्षयम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca | pārthivān pārthivaśreṣṭhaḥ śiśupālo 'py acetanaḥ | sarvān sarvātmanā tāta netukāmo yamākṣayam ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi bậc vương giả tối thượng, ngay cả Śiśupāla—dẫu lừng danh giữa các bậc quân vương—cũng đã trở nên mất hết sự phân biệt. Này con yêu, hắn dốc trọn tâm ý muốn xua tất cả các vua ấy đến cõi bất hoại của Yama (tức cái chết).”
