चरणक्षालने कृष्णो ब्राह्मणानां स्वयं हाभूत् । सर्वलोकसमावृत्त: पिप्रीषु: फलमुत्तमम्
caraṇakṣālane kṛṣṇo brāhmaṇānāṃ svayaṃ hābhūt | sarvalokasamāvṛttaḥ piprīṣuḥ phalam uttamam ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Giữa vòng vây của toàn thể quần chúng tụ hội, chính Kṛṣṇa tự mình đảm nhận việc rửa chân cho các Bà-la-môn, với ước nguyện làm đẹp lòng mọi người—một hành vi được xem là đem lại công đức tối thượng.
