Adhyāya 33: Antarvedī-Samāgama, Arghya-Nirṇaya, and Śiśupāla’s Objection

ते वाचयित्वा पुण्याहमूहयित्वा च तं विधिम्‌ । शास्त्रोक्तं पूजयामासुस्तद्‌ देवयजनं महत्‌

te vācayitvā puṇyāham ūhayitvā ca taṃ vidhim | śāstroktam pūjayāmāsus tad devayajanaṃ mahat ||

Họ cho đọc những lời chúc phúc cát tường (pūṇyāha) và cho định lập nghi thức đúng như kinh điển (śāstra) đã dạy, đồng thời tuyên bố saṅkalpa—lời phát nguyện nêu rõ mục đích của lễ. Rồi họ khiến nơi tế tự vĩ đại ấy—đàn tràng dành để phụng thờ chư thiên—được tôn kính theo đúng pháp lệnh của śāstra.
