vaiśampāyana uvāca | evaṃ nirjitya pṛthivīṃ bhrātaraḥ kurunandana | vartamānāḥ svadharmeṇa śaśāsuḥ pṛthivīm imām ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi niềm vui của dòng Kuru! Như thế, sau khi chinh phục cõi đất, các anh em ấy—hành xử đúng theo dharma của mình—đã bắt đầu cai trị chính thế gian này.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Legitimate rule is grounded in svadharma: power gained (even by conquest) must be exercised through righteous conduct, restraint, and duty-based governance rather than personal whim.
