The Commencement of the Great Departure
श्वा चैवानुययावेक: प्रस्थितान् पाण्डवान् वनम् | क्रमेण ते ययुर्वीरा लौहित्यं सलिलार्णवम्
śvā caivānuyayāv ekaḥ prasthitān pāṇḍavān vanam | krameṇa te yayur vīrā lauhityaṃ salilārṇavam ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Khi các Pāṇḍava lên đường vào rừng trong cuộc hành trình cuối cùng, có một con chó đơn độc cũng theo họ. Cứ từng bước một, những người anh hùng ấy rồi cũng đến vùng nước Lauhitya—mênh mông như biển cả—một ngưỡng cửa nữa trên lộ trình xả ly.
