अद्य राजास्मि गोविन्द पृथिव्यां भ्रातृभि: सह । त्वया नाथेन वीरेण विदुषा परिपालित:,उन्होंने कहा--“गोविन्द! आप-जैसे विद्वान् और वीर स्वामी एवं संरक्षकके द्वारा सुरक्षित होकर आज मैं भाइयोंसहित इस भूमण्डलका राजा हो गया
adya rājāsmi govinda pṛthivyāṃ bhrātṛbhiḥ saha | tvayā nāthena vīreṇa viduṣā paripālitaḥ ||
Saṃjaya nói: “Ôi Govinda, hôm nay ta đã trở thành vua trên cõi đất này cùng với các huynh đệ của ta, nhờ được ngài—chúa tể và đấng hộ trì của ta—dũng mãnh trong chiến trận và minh triết trong mưu lược—che chở và nâng đỡ.”
