ततस्तेजोमया बाणा रथात् पार्थस्य नि:सृता: । प्रादुरासन् महावीर्या: कर्णस्य रथमन्तिकात्,तदनन्तर कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुनके रथसे महान् शक्तिशाली और तेजस्वी बाण निकलकर कर्णके रथके समीप प्रकट होने लगे
tatas tejomayā bāṇā rathāt pārthasya niḥsṛtāḥ | prādurāsan mahāvīryāḥ karṇasya ratham antikāt ||
Sañjaya nói: Khi ấy, từ chiến xa của Pārtha Arjuna, những mũi tên kết thành từ hào quang rực cháy bắn vút ra. Uy lực phi thường, chúng hiện ra sát bên chiến xa của Karṇa—báo hiệu sức ép mau lẹ, không ngừng nghỉ của Arjuna trong dòng chiến trận chính nghĩa mà khốc liệt.
