Shloka 79

नरनारायणावेतौ पुराणावृषिसत्तमौ । अनियम्यौ नियन्तारावेतौ तस्मात्‌ परंतपौ

nara-nārāyaṇāv etau purāṇāv ṛṣi-sattamau | aniyamyau niyantārāv etau tasmāt paraṃtapau ||

Sañjaya nói: “Hai vị ấy chính là Nara và Nārāyaṇa—những bậc thánh hiền cổ xưa, tối thượng trong hàng ṛṣi. Họ không chịu sự chế ngự của bất kỳ ai; trái lại, chính họ là những đấng điều ngự muôn loài. Vì thế, họ đủ sức thiêu đốt và khuất phục kẻ thù.”
