तौ दृष्टवा विस्मयं जग्मु: सर्वसैन्यानि मारिष । त्रैलोक्यविजये यत्ताविन्द्रवरोचनाविव

Transliteration

tau dṛṣṭvā vismayaṁ jagmuḥ sarvasainyāni māriṣa | trailokyavijaye yattāv indravarocanāv iva ||

Translation

Sañjaya nói: Thấy hai vị ấy đối mặt nhau, toàn quân đều sững sờ kinh ngạc, hỡi bậc đáng tôn kính—tựa như Indra và Bali (con của Varocana), cả hai đều gắng sức giành thắng lợi trên ba cõi. Cảnh tượng ấy gợi như cuộc va chạm của những quyền lực có thể chinh phục thế gian, khiến các đạo quân nhìn mà rúng động trước tầm vóc của cuộc đối đầu.
