धनंजयशराभ्यस्तै: स्यन्दनाश्वरथद्विपै: । संछिन्नभिन्नविध्वस्तैर्व्यज्राज़ावयवै: स्तृता

Transliteration

dhanañjayaśarābhyastaiḥ syandanāśvarathadvipaiḥ | sañchinnabhinnavidhvastair vyajāḍāva-yavaiḥ stṛtā ||

Translation

Sañjaya nói: Mặt đất nơi ấy bị phủ kín bởi những mảnh vỡ tan tác của chiến xa, ngựa và voi—hết lần này đến lần khác bị mũi tên của Dhanañjaya (Arjuna) bắn trúng. Bị chém lìa, bị xé toạc và bị phá hủy hoàn toàn, từng chi thể và bộ phận nằm rải rác khắp nơi, làm chứng cho sức công phá không ngơi của trận chiến và cái giá khủng khiếp của võ công nơi chiến địa.
