Shloka 49

पज्चालानां रथश्रेष्ठान्‌ द्रावयन्‌ शात्रवांस्तथा । कर्णस्तु समरे योधांस्त्रासयन्‌ सुमहायशा:

pañcālānāṁ rathaśreṣṭhān drāvayan śātravāṁs tathā | karṇas tu samare yodhāṁs trāsayan sumahāyaśāḥ ||

Sañjaya thưa: Xua những chiến xa ưu tú nhất của người Pañcāla phải tháo chạy, đồng thời cũng đánh tan các hàng ngũ địch, Karṇa—bậc danh tiếng lẫy lừng—khiến các chiến binh trên chiến địa kinh hãi.
