नश्यमानमहं युक्त मन्येयमिति मे मतिः । “रणभूमिमें तुम्हें पाकर सारा क्षत्रियसमाज एक दिनमें नष्ट हो सकता है, ऐसा कहना मैं युक्तिसंगत मानता हूँ। मेरी तो ऐसी ही धारणा है |। ५० ई ।।
naśyamānam ahaṁ yuktaṁ manyeyam iti me matiḥ | seyaṁ pārtha camūr ghorā dhārtarāṣṭrasya saṁyuge ||
Sañjaya nói: “Ta cho rằng đó là một nhận định hợp lẽ: hễ đã gặp ngươi trên chiến địa thì toàn thể hàng ngũ kṣatriya có thể bị tiêu diệt chỉ trong một ngày. Ấy là niềm tin của ta. Và giờ đây, hỡi Pārtha, hãy nhìn đạo quân ghê gớm của các con Dhṛtarāṣṭra đang dàn trận.”
