उत्थाय भ्रातरं राजा धर्मराजो धनंजयम्‌ | समाश्लिष्य च सस्नेहं प्रसुरोद महीपति:

Transliteration

utthāya bhrātaraṃ rājā dharmarājo dhanañjayam | samāśliṣya ca sasnehaṃ prasuroda mahīpatiḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya nói: Vua Yudhiṣṭhira, bậc nâng đỡ dharma, đứng dậy và đỡ người em Dhanañjaya (Arjuna) lên. Ôm chàng với tình thương sâu đậm, đấng chúa tể cõi đất ấy rồi cũng òa khóc—cho thấy rằng ngay giữa những đòi hỏi khắc nghiệt của chiến tranh, sự lãnh đạo chính nghĩa vẫn không thiếu dịu mềm, đau thương và bổn phận ruột thịt.
