Karṇa-parva Adhyāya 58 — Arjuna’s Arrow-Storm and Relief of Bhīmasena

छादयामास समरे शरैराशीविषोपमै: । द्रोणशत्रुर्महेष्वासो विव्याध निशितै: शरै:

sañjaya uvāca |

chādayāmāsa samare śarair āśīviṣopamaiḥ |

droṇaśatrur maheṣvāso vivyādha niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ||

Sañjaya thưa: Giữa trận tiền dày đặc, đại cung thủ—kẻ sát hại Droṇa, Dhṛṣṭadyumna—bị phủ kín bởi những mũi tên sắc như rắn độc. Thế nhưng chính dũng tướng ấy lại dùng những mũi tên nhọn đâm trả đối phương, cho thấy trong vòng quay nghiệt ngã của chiến tranh, dũng khí và thương tích đáp lại nhau không một khắc ngừng.
