न मया तादृशो राजन दृष्टपूर्व: पराक्रम: । संग्रामे यादृशो द्रौणे: कृष्णौ संछादयिष्यत:,राजन्‌! समरांगणमें श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुनको बाणोंद्वारा आच्छादित करनेवाले अश्वत्थामाका जैसा पराक्रम उस दिन देखा गया, वैसा मैंने पहले कभी नहीं देखा था

na mayā tādṛśo rājan dṛṣṭapūrvaḥ parākramaḥ | saṅgrāme yādṛśo drauṇeḥ kṛṣṇau saṃchādayiṣyataḥ ||

Sañjaya nói: Tâu Đại vương, thần chưa từng thấy uy dũng nào như thế—như Aśvatthāmā, con của Droṇa, khi giữa chiến địa đã trút mưa tên phủ kín cả Kṛṣṇa lẫn Arjuna.
