ततो युद्धमतीवासीन्मुहूर्तमिव भारत । भीरूणां त्रासजननं शूराणां हर्षवर्धनम्,भारत! तदनन्तर दो घड़ीतक वहाँ घोर युद्ध होता रहा, जो कायरोंके लिये त्रासजनक और शूरवीरोंका हर्ष बढ़ानेवाला था
tato yuddham atīvāsīn muhūrtam iva bhārata | bhīrūṇāṁ trāsajananaṁ śūrāṇāṁ harṣavardhanam ||
Sañjaya nói: Rồi, hỡi Bhārata, trong khoảng thời gian tưởng như chỉ một khoảnh khắc, một trận chiến dữ dội bùng lên—gieo kinh hoàng cho kẻ nhút nhát, nhưng lại làm tăng niềm hân hoan và khí phách của người dũng cảm.
