कर्णवधार्थं धनञ्जयस्य प्रतिज्ञा — Arjuna’s resolve for Karṇa’s defeat
इति श्रीमहाभारते कर्णपर्वणि संकुलयुद्धे त्रिपठ्चाशत्तमो5ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate karṇaparvaṇi saṅkulayuddhe tripañcāśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ
Như vậy kết thúc chương thứ năm mươi ba trong Karṇa Parva của Śrī Mahābhārata, thuộc phần thuật về trận chiến rối loạn, dày đặc và chằng chịt. Lời kể khép lại một cách trang trọng, nhấn mạnh sự phức tạp không dứt của chiến tranh và gánh nặng đạo lý đè lên từng biến cố đang mở ra.
